ProFil is still under development: some work has to be done, especially to add new filters to ProFil.

However, ProFil's core, which is to say ProFil's interface, HTTP server and basic filters are presently running stable. The first version is thus available, and a second release should follow soon with more built-in filters. All the bugs detected during the testing of this first release have been corrected, but there may still be a few left. If you think you found one, I would be grateful to you if you could email me its description, so that I can try to fix it.

Version 1.0 beta has run succesfully on window 9X and solaris. The proxy part has been tested in the context of 'usual' web surfing without bug.
